One of the challenges of achieving exceptional clinical results for
any new medical device is making sure the device is being used correctly.
The obvious solution, education, becomes an obstacle itself because
physicians are busy in their clinical practices.
An international medical device company recently came face-to-face with this issue and called on Promedica International CME to assist them in solving the problem.
Promedica International CME worked with this company to create a series of regional training programs, which took place all throughout the country. The resulting program began with dinner the evening before the training session to provide physicians an opportunity to network with others who would also be using the device, and was followed the next morning by a 6 hour training and demonstration session.
The frequency of the program and the variation in location allowed physicians to attend a session that fit into their schedule in just one day while allowing them to stay close to home. Over the life of this series, individual training sessions were held in 22 locations and successfully educated over 200 physicians.
